Sennen is truly beautiful in all seasons. Spring brings exceptional colour to the coastline, with Nature's flora and fauna breathing new life into the cliff tops and beaches. There's obviously an uplifting energy in the Summer, with the warm sands of the beach and the perfect surf. You can also see just how colourful our garden borders and hanging baskets were throughout the Summer last year.
Autumn is an equally special time in Sennen, with the view from our accommodation forever changing... and our inquisitive bovine neighbours often coming to say hello.
In the later months there's always the increased chance of some exciting storms too! Huge waves can pound the headland at Sennen Cove and, as long as you show full respect to the sea and stay safe, it's a thrilling sight! The lighthouse featured in the last gallery photo below is the Longships's Lighthouse. It's 1.5 miles from Land's End and 115 feet tall.

As for Winter in Sennen, you'll find it's quite unusual to have snow in the cove. However, in February 2018, when we experienced 'The beast from the East', it became almost impossible to walk down the hill as a covering of snow hid a sheet of ice! Fortunately, such snow is a rarity and we normally just enjoy a pretty frost and a magical vista of sparkly lights.
